This events serves as a kick-off event to raise funds for NephCure Kidney International as we countdown to the annual Denver NephCure Walk on September 30.
About Teagan: Teagan Brooks, was diagnosed with a rare and potentially life-threatening kidney disease (FSGS) at the age of 3. Teagan who is now 6 currently takes 10-12 daily medications, most of which have devastating side effects. Dialysis and transplant are not a cure for this auto-immune disorder, and in 30-50% of cases the disease recurs quickly to attack the healthy donor kidney. She has been in remission and stable for over two years, but her family lives in constant fear of relapse and renal failure. Funds are crucial to find better treatment options and a cure for patients like Teagan to have a chance at a normal life off of steroids and immunosuppressant drugs.
Event Details: We'll be on the far left side of the driving range and we'll have use of the chipping/putting green on the left as well. Clubs for kiddos will be sized up and provided at no charge! $10/3 balls, $15/6 balls to compete for: Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Closest to T. We will also have prizes for the winners of each category and a raffle drawing to include a season pass to Coal Creek and $150 in gift certificates to Sweet Spot Cafe. *if you have any items you'd like to donate for the raffle, we'll gladly accept them! (gift cards, water bottles, etc.)
