Fall Aerification: Sept 8 & 9

It’s time to give our greens a little fall TLC. Coal Creek Golf Course will be closed Tuesday, September 8, for fall aerification using the DryJect process. The front nine will reopen Wednesday, September 9, while work continues on the back nine.

Aerification is essential for healthy greens. It relieves soil compaction and helps air, water, and nutrients reach the roots, creating stronger turf and better playing conditions over time.

The good news? DryJect creates small channels in the greens and fills them with sand without pulling traditional cores. That means less disruption to the putting surface and greens that repair more quickly than with traditional core aerification.
