If you want to play golf but have found it hard to learn, intimidating, frustrating, or embarrassing, this class is for you! Please note, this class is very popular and fills up fast! 40 player maximum.
To sign up for the class, please come IN to the pro shop and we will be happy to get you all squared away!

Purpose:
To offer newer men and women golfers a fun environment to learn and enjoy the company of similar level golfers. An opportunity to develop confidence in your abilities.
Dates & Time:
- 7-week program on Monday evenings with a 4:45 pm start time for instruction
- June 8, 15, 22, 29 July 13, 20, 27
- Includes only instruction for the first 3 weeks and the opportunity to play 5-holes with instruction in the last 4 weeks.
- Participation every week is not mandatory, but you will pay for the whole program.
- There are no make-up dates or times.
- No refunds once the program begins.
Format:
Each Monday night session will consist of:
- Instruction/Play
- Weeks 1-3: We will be focusing on the fundamentals on the driving range, putting green, and chipping green. Our goal this year is to build more confidence before going out on the course weeks 4-7.
- Weeks 4-7: will be more traditional in terms of what you may be used to for Novice League. 45 minutes of instruction with rotating “stations” each week. After the instruction time, we will go out and play 5 holes on the course, with instructors going between groups to help with any questions!
- Fun Hangout and socialize at The Turn at Coal Creek after play.
Group instruction will begin at 4:45 p.m. each week covering the following areas:
- Full swing motion
- Golf terminology
- Putting
- Chipping
- Rules
- Driving
- Irons
- Sand Shots
Rules of Play:
- 5-holes
- Scramble format is used.
- Players can use a tee wherever they are until they reach the green.
