Coal Creek Golf Course COVID-19 Update

As of Friday, March 13, 2020, Coal Creek Golf Course and Sweet Spot Cafe remain open for business.

During this time of rising concerns regarding COVID-19 we are taking extra precautions in our public spaces to mitigate the spread of germs and reduce community transmission, including:
  • All counters are wiped down regularly throughout the day with disinfectant.
  • All golf carts and pull carts are cleaned with disinfectant after each use.
  • Only one (1) golfer will be allowed in each golf cart to encourage social distancing. Please note there may be a shortage of golf carts throughout the day as no golf course has a supply of carts to accommodate one (1) cart per player.
  • Hand sanitizer is available in the golf shop and at the golf shop doors.
  • We will be removing all flagsticks from the green to avoid contamination.
  • We recommend that you do NOT rake the bunkers for the same reason.  Play preferred lies in the sand bunkers.
  • Grab and Go lunch bags complete with sandwich, chips and cookie are available in the cooler in the Sweet Spot cafe.
We ask you to partner with us in this effort by following the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations to frequently wash your hands, cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing, avoid close contact, and avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. As always, we encourage anyone who is feeling ill to stay home, especially if they are experiencing the respiratory symptoms outlined by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment

This is a dynamic situation, and we will continue to respond appropriately, learning and adapting as new information is made available. We will continually update the status on our web site.
