Hey Mother Nature. We are well into April, and April Fools is long gone. We are READY TO GOLF! So no more of these "Psych. It's spring but here is another snow storm.", K? We are talking we want birds, green grass, sunshine, and cool wind in our hair. Please and thank you. Now that we have that taken care of, grab your clubs and head over to Coal Creek. Many great things are happening this month, including our first couples league, an update on Top Tracer, a new weekend women's league, and upcoming demo days. You know you want to come out and play! So book your tee time and then keep reading to learn about some things you should know.
Spring Aerification: April 10-11
Only 9-holes will be open Monday, April 10 and Tuesday, April 11.
Core aeration is critical to improving turf's health and performance. We understand this disrupts your game so we are offering special aeration rates until the greens are recovered (in addition to giving you an excuse to use for missed puts). Aerification rates begin Tuesday, April 11. (Season pass, resident, and military discounts apply)- Weekday: $20 (9 holes), $40 (18 holes)
- Weekend: $25 (9 holes), $46 (18 holes)
Demo Days & Club Fitting
Take some clubs for a test drive. We have demo clubs in the shop (Callaway Paradym Drivers, fairway metals, hybrids, irons and Mizuno ST-X, ST-Z drivers, fairway metals, hybrids) in stock as well as the upcoming demo and club fitting events. Registration is open for the April events.

New Women's Weekend Golf League
Women's golf has come a long way since the Ladies Putting Club of St. Andrews was created in 1867. Did you know the course was first developed because it was believed that women did not have the “constitution” to play 18 holes? Well, game on boys. Coal Creek currently has an active weekday women's golf association (CCWGA) with over 170 members. And this year we are experimenting with adding a monthly weekend league starting in May. Join early and you can help choose the name! No excuses, play some weekend golf.

First Couples Scramble of 2022
Friday, April 28 | 5 PM Shotgun Start
Grab a partner (choose wisely) and join us for our Couples Scramble League. There will be 10 events April - September. You can play in just one or all ten! Cost is $100 per couple per event and includes 9-holes of golf, cart, dinner, and prizes. The fun you will have is priceless. Limited spots available.

Hole In One
March was lucky for two golfers!
Golf season has gotten off to a great start for two of our league golfers. Congratulations to Scott Shepherd, a member of our men’s league, who had a hole-in-one on Sunday, March 26. Howard Brazee, a member of the Strokers League, followed this with a hole-in-one on Wednesday, March 29. Maybe you will be next! You can't win if you don't play.
