1. PGA Jr. Summer Golf Camps
Registration is open for May-August full and half-day camps
RECOMMENDED FOR: Golfers ages 6-16 of all levels who are interested in a week long summer camp environment to develop golf skills.
Exciting news! Coal Creek Golf Course is partnering with PGA Jr. Camps for another fantastic season. Whether your child is a beginner or has some golf experience, we have the perfect camp for them. Choose from half-day, full-day, or competitive camps designed to make learning the game enjoyable and supportive. PGA Junior Golf Camps, led by certified PGA of America Professionals, provide a fun, safe, and educational environment for kids to develop their golf skills. From tee to green, our camps cover every aspect of the game, including full swing, short game, rules, and etiquette. Camps take place at Coal Creek Golf Course. 2. PGA Jr. Summer Golf League
Registration is open. League runs May-July.
RECOMMENDED FOR: Golfers ages 7-17 who are interested in a 12 week program focused on improving their skills and learning tournament play.
The PGA Junior League is a dynamic and engaging program designed to introduce young golfers to the team aspect of the sport. Players are grouped into teams, donning colorful jerseys and representing their home course. Led by certified PGA and LPGA professionals, these young athletes not only develop their golf skills but also foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie. The format features two-person scrambles, ensuring that every participant contributes to their team's success. The PGA Junior League not only nurtures a love for the game but also instills valuable life lessons in a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. All practices and matches will take place exclusively at Coal Creek Golf Course.
3. OP36 Golf Academy: Learn to Play Golf
Operation 36 is a structured golf development program specifically designed for junior golfers. The program's core objective is for participants to progress from higher scores to shooting a score of 36 or better for nine holes, symbolizing mastery of fundamental golf skills. With a curriculum covering putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, and on-course strategy, Operation 36 emphasizes both skill development and on-course play. Divided into developmental levels, golfers work towards longer yardages as they advance, with a supportive community atmosphere fostered by certified golf professionals. The program integrates technology for tracking progress, creating an engaging and measurable learning experience for junior golfers. Practice takes place at Coal Creek Golf Course.
4. Colorado PGA Jr. Golf Tour
Registration opens in mid-January.
RECOMMENDED FOR: Junior golfers interested in competing in regional junior golf events.
The Colorado PGA offers several programs including the Junior Development Series, Junior Player Series, Junior Cup Series, and Junior Major Championships. These programs fill up extremely fast and tournaments will be played throughout the state.
5. Coal Creek Youth Camps
Registration is open now! Camps held in June and July.
RECOMMENDED FOR: Youth grades K-2 who are interested in a one hour, fun, introductory golf experience.
This engaging program introduces the fundamentals of golf, creating a positive and enjoyable experience that lays the foundation for a lifelong love of the game. Camp takes place at Coal Creek Golf Course.
6. Coal Creek Unlimited Play Jr. Golf Pass

Best value for junior golf on the Front Range! One year of unlimited golf for $413. Fee includes unlimited weekday golf, unlimited weekend golf after 1 PM, and a $400 range card. This pass is cost-effective way to encourage regular play and provide opportunities for skill development. Must be under 18 by April 1, 2024. Pass expires March 31, 2025.
